Lash Lift

The procedure will set you back $150 and lasts eight to 12 weeks. It involves putting pads on a person’s eyelids and under their eyes, then applying keratin to the lashes. This gives the lash a very natural, full, curvier appearance.

If you've been following my posts more closely, you may have read that I love lash extensions (article found here). I love them so much that I was getting them done for almost three years. The thing is, I cheated on my regular lash girl because of scheduling purposes and ended up really damaging my lashes! (Cheated on anyone is clearly never a good idea!) That's when I decided to take a break.

After all the damage I investigated lash serums (post to come when I see the results) I started using one and my lashes within a week are already longer. I have pretty thick lashes as is, but they are extremely straight so you can't see how full they really are.

Reading on Instagram I saw a girl do a lift and her lashes looked beautiful! I love being able to get up and go and not feel like a naked mole rat with no lashes so I thought - let's try it.

My girlfriend recommended a lash girl to me in Tarzana (it's far, but so worth it). I am an inquisitive person and it comes natural for me to ask a million questions. Sarah was incredibly thorough and explained every step of the process and had an amazing personality to match her skill set. Which in my opinion is a bonus because the procedure takes a little over an hour!

Here is what my lashes looked like before the treatment. Sarah asked me to come in with a fresh face, meaning, no make up or face creams around my eyes.

A little after an hour and multiple treatments, serums, conditioners, oils later here is the result. I could not believe what I saw! I'm in love so far. Sarah even tinted my lashes to create a bolder look. There was no lash curler used or mascara.

Day 1 and I'm really happy... I just can't wash my face or allow any moisture near my lashes for 48 hours and that's irritating, but I know it'll be worth it!

It's safe to say, I highly recommend this treatment!
