IF YOU’RE NEW TO HAND POUR AND DONT WANT ALL THE BITS
I used to think I would NEVER be a coffee person. The taste and thought of it made me think of being an old man. (I'm so dramatic) Until some random time in my life probably about a year or so ago.. I don't I don't even know when it became bearable ; but it was probably with lots of milk and sugar. I can tell you exactly how I got STUCK on it though. Coconut milk iced lattes in Indonesia. GAME OVER! *I'm drooling* With this new love came times that I wasn't able to stop by somewhere and have someone make it for me so I really wanted to learn how to make it myself and my dream to become the best barista I could became a thing. I started making pour over coffee at home and although it was good it wasn't the same as the coffee shops. So it became time for my first lesson (besides the whole pouring water on coffee beans part) coffee is pretty complicated like theres a bunch of different kinds and it all has to do with the type of coffee or the milk to coffee to cream ratio. Since I was really invested in learning a little more I did what every millennial would do and I googled it.
Because lattes are made with espresso I had to figure out what that even meant. but basically what I got out of it is it's the pressure and that's why getting a machine is good. I didn't have a machine so my pour over was going to have to do. UNTIL one day I went to my friends farms and they had this machine. It was magical and I played around with making coffee.
To be honest that machine is a little out of my price range so I found this espresso machine that fits my budget better.
I have a LONG ways to go but it's been fun learning along the way.
