The Only Time You Shouldn't Drink Water

DON'T DRINK WATER BEFORE BED

 

Research shows that we should abstain from drinking water at least 3 hours before bed for two reasons. 

1. Better sleep

If you drink too much water before you hit the sheets you could interrupt your sleep cycle and then you don't get the full 6-8 hours necessary. 

2. Metabolism

They say it's best to fast your body a few hours before bed to help kickstart your metabolism and your body can finish digesting your food from that day. 

 

Who would have thought my tea before bed was a big no-no?
